Uniforms For School

We have been going to schools for years, and some schools require students to wear uniforms. In 1981, with the regulation regarding the dress code for students and staff at schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education and other ministries, students were required to wear black coats and white collars. This dress code has both positive and negative sides.

School uniforms can be necessary in some aspects. The first positive effect is the feeling of being part of the school. When students go to school and everyone wears the same clothes, they don’t feel separated from each other and they feel equal in education. The second positive effect of wearing school uniforms is that students don’t waste time choosing clothes for school. For example, girls tend to have more clothing options in their daily life. Without school uniforms, we might get confused when picking out clothes for school, which can cause us to lose time and sometimes be late.

However, there are also negative aspects to school uniforms. As we wear the same uniforms every school day, it can be difficult to keep them clean all the time, especially because we sweat a lot in school, causing the uniforms to smell bad. This is one negative effect of wearing school uniforms. The second negative effect is getting bored of wearing the exact same clothes every school day.

These are the effects of wearing school uniforms. But when we consider the positive sides, it sometimes makes more sense to wear them.
