THEY CAN FEEL?!

Nowadays, people often claim that robots can feel things. However, this is not true. What actually happens is that robots are programmed to respond to certain inputs or questions.

Even if robots could feel, it wouldn’t cause any major problems. It would simply mean that the robot could act like a casual friend to discuss things with. Some people believe robots are going to take over the world, but that’s impossible. If one of them got too close to me, I could easily deal with it by blasting it with water or short-circuiting it. I could also run away, since robots will eventually run out of energy. While this may seem perfect, it could have a downside: it might make us less social. However, this downside could be balanced by the fact that robots could replace jobs we don’t like doing.

Some people think giving robots emotions is a good idea, but this would cause problems. If robots had feelings, they might get angry, bored, or lazy, which could make them stop working altogether.

In conclusion, robots having feelings is a complete myth, and even if they did, not much would change in the grand scheme of things.
