Is being a vegan compulsory?

Being a vegan or not being a vegan is an optional choice in today’s world. If you are vegan, you don’t consume animal products and believe that animals also have the right to live. If you are not a vegan, you consume animal products and see animals as living beings from which humans should benefit. However, there is another idea. Some people claim that if humans don’t become vegans by 2030, life on Earth will end. So, is being vegan compulsory? Are animals unable to survive if we hunt them? There are many arguments like this, and people have different perspectives.

I believe that being vegan won’t be compulsory because animals can give birth to many offspring. They can easily replace the dead population. Additionally, a single cow can provide up to 120 kilos of meat. If we consider that an average person eats 500 grams of meat every week, it would take 240 days to completely finish a single cow. Based on these facts, I do not think being vegan is necessary for human survival.

When it comes to living healthily, a vegan person may struggle to get enough protein, as meat is one of the best and most readily available sources of protein. Calcium from milk is also crucial, especially for children and older adults. Vegans can get calcium from almond milk, but there’s a problem: the production of almond milk often involves pesticides that harm bees, leading to the death of millions of them.

In conclusion, I don’t think being vegan is compulsory or that eating animal products is harmful to people. I also don’t agree with the idea that if we don’t all become vegan by 2030, the world will end. Thank you.
