Film Review: Inception

The film Inception, released in 2010, is perhaps one of the best films amongst many other films of Christopher Nolan might be the film you’re looking for if you still are missing out on it. It might be the perfect film for the sci-fi lovers around the globe. The film is about a a skilled thief who steals secrets from within the subconscious. The film follows Cobb and his team as they attempt to perform the ultimate heist: planting an idea into someone’s mind, otherwise known as inception.

There is lots of exceptional things about this film, let’s just start with the acting; The famous actor Di Caprio played the role Dom Cobb, near to perfect. Supporting actors like Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, and Tom Hardy also deliver strong performances, each contributing unique elements to their characters. The chemistry between the actors brings the emotional and psychological tension to life. The rhyme between the casting team and the roles is crazy.

We have to keep a point on the CGI and cinematography, the CGI directors did a crazy job for the year 2010. The dreamscapes are beautifully shot, with jaw-dropping special effects that blur the line between reality and imagination.

Despite how complex and detailed the film is, the plot is well-constructed. Since then, even more complex films plot wise have been released like TENET, again by Nolan. Some still do find the plot hard to keep up though.

Personally, I would highly recommend you to watch this film- if you still haven’t, you are missing out on a lot. The perfect casting, plot and effects won’t make you regret it.
