Is Traditional Media Dead?

We have heard that the traditional media controlled by some of the journalism corporations are dying. This theory is also supported by the platform X (formerly Twitter) growing to be a big journalism media, a really big one. But which one is more reliable? We have seen enough of the disinformation and fake news from both sides. Which one will be the one we are going to use in the following years and maybe further into the future?

We should firstly inspect the policies of both sides, starting with traditional media where the journalists get a stable pay and mostly don’t depend on how much interaction the written new has gotten because they necessarily try to reach all the age groups equally but not a certain age group. In the other side with social media, you get paid by the platform itself if you are a premium member. This system has recently been implemented by Elon Musk who bought the platform. Social media is a very viable platform for freelancing too. So, you might think that if you get paid for interaction, a lot more fake news and disinformation could be spread around via social media. You would be correct because interaction has significantly set the fake journalists to use the opportunity to gain easy money. But the X community blocks it straight away, at least some of them. Civilian people don’t have control over what is given to the people as news in the traditional media. Even if they try to intervene, lawsuits and other law stuff kind of make us afraid or make us think that it will not be worth it try and get the new corrected. So social media is definitely more reliable about the fake news side. Also, traditional media is recently finding the way to implement their news to social media with their own social media staff and official accounts of their own.

So, we probably will not experience the death of traditional media because the social media is too weak to overtake it, with the help of the older age group. Maybe later on we may see a big decrease on reliability of the traditional media. Time will tell everything.
