Once upon a time, a beautiful girl named Olivia lived in a small and beautiful village. Olivia was known in the village for her fascinating smile and her interest in candles. Every day, as the sun set, she would light a candle and shed a little light from the window of her house.
Olivia had a very ordinary but beautiful and adventurous life. The biggest reason why her life was adventurous was that Olivia was an adventure enthusiast. But she had other things to do instead of going on adventures. The first thing she did was to take care of her elderly grandmother and also take care of her own affairs. Her grandmother was an intelligent and beautiful woman, just like Olivia. Most of the time she spent with Olivia, she would tell her the stories and adventures she had when she was young. Olivia would fexperiences to a candle, saying that experiences light our way like a candle.
One day, while she was sitting by the window with her grandmother, her grandmother said to Olivia:
– “There is a walnut tree on the slope of the hill beyond the village and there is a candle on its trunk. If you find this candle and light it, a magic will happen.” she said.
After her grandmother’s words, Olivia gained courage. She already had a curious nature. Her grandmother’s words made her think that an adventure was calling her and she left the house to do what she said. She walked a little and found the walnut tree that her grandmother had mentioned. Next was to find the candle on her body and light it. She walked around the tree, found the candle, and as soon as she lit it, dust came out. This dust made Olivia sneeze. When Olivia sneezed and opened her eyes, she found herself in a very different place, this was not her village. She stood for a while and tried to figure out where this place was, but she couldn’t. A single sentence was running through her mind: “Whatever happened, it happened when I blew out the candle.” She was so angry at herself at that moment that she couldn’t see anything. She knew that one day her love of adventure would get her into trouble, but she never thought that this would be the moment, as her grandmother was very smart and thought she must know something. But unfortunately, she was at that moment. She immediately stopped thinking that thought and started thinking about what she should do. She had to do whatever she could to return to the village, to her grandmother. She started to look around. She thought that the way back would be the same as how she came here. She started looking for walnut trees around her. She wandered around for a while, but since she didn’t know where it was, she didn’t even know if walnuts grew in this place. After continuing walking, she saw a walnut tree planted next to a house, she ran to it and started to look if there was anything resembling a candle. She walked around and there, right in front of her, was what looked like the candle she had just lit. She lit the candle and dust came out again, she sneezed and when she opened her eyes she was in her village again. She took a deep breath and then started running towards her house. When he came home, her grandmother was sitting there, seemed unaware of everything. She asked what happened and Olivia began to explain. Olivia was explaining, but her grandmother didn’t seem surprised at all. So she knew what would happen as a result. Just as she was about to ask her grandmother, her grandmother seemed to sense that she was going to ask:
– “I know everything you’ve been through.” she said
At that moment Olivia understood everything.
After that day, she realized that it was actually a game planned by her grandmother to show her that she was smarter than she thought and that this enthusiasm for adventure would get her into trouble one day. She also understood that she should not embark on every adventure from now on, that she should think first and do it later.
