Have you ever thought about what if it was only night or only day? What if it were only at night, we would spend much more energy on lighting, so our natural resources would be depleted much more quickly. We would have difficulty doing many things because our natural resources were quickly depleted. Maybe our bones wouldn’t develop enough… Because we wouldn’t be able to get the vitamin D found in sunlight. As you know, vitamin D is very beneficial for our bones. It also has a side that protects us from diseases. Plants could not photosynthesize because sunlight is necessary for them to photosynthesize. Since we would want to sleep all the time, perhaps all our work would remain undone. The weather would not be hot and the sun would not be visible. As a result, diseases would increase. Who doesn’t love relaxing in front of a beautiful view? But unfortunately, if there was no sun, there would be no unique views we could watch.
What if it was only during the day? First of all, people had difficulty satisfying their need for rest. For example, I am someone who cannot sleep at all during the day. When people can’t rest, they can get sick. Because we couldn’t sleep, we would get tired and couldn’t do our jobs. The weather was always very hot. So it’s bad that it’s always night or always day, but it’s a good thing that the Earth revolves around the Sun. In this way, the balance between day and night works perfectly for us.
