An Argument That Is Not Scientific

What is reality? Are we real? Is this huge universe a program and we are just some details of it?  There is a theory that we are in a simulation. This idea has a long history and people are still arguing if we are real or not. Surprisingly, this idea is popular among scientists and philosophers. However, some like physicists say that the idea is not scientific anyway so we can not prove something by investigating  and it is not worth it. The idea is that advanced civilizations-maybe they are creatures that are not humans- developed a computer program to watch their ancestors or maybe we are just there for their entertainment. Our universe is complexed, but maybe advanced civilizations were able to simulate it somehow.  But why would such developed and intelligent creatures waste so much time and energy for that? Our world is more complex than it needs to be if we are in a simulation designed by some advanced civilizations.  Also, why would we need consciousness if we were in a simulation, why do we need this type of intelligence if we are just coded characters in a computer program? And one more question: If technology is improving day by day, will humanity be able to improve technology that much like the advanced civilizations we are talking about now? Or will humanity be able to survive that long because a nuclear war or somethings like that can start and humans can destroy themselves because technology is spreading and improving very quickly. Reaching that level of technology is also possible because we know no limits to technology for now and we do not know if we will in the future. Also, too much knowledgelike this is bad for humans. Like we know that we can be in a simulation tight now but proving this somehow can effect us badly.

So as a result we can say that there is a chance that we might actually live in a simulation but we do not know why. Confirming this can effect us and we do not know how we can confirm or disprove this. It remains as a question to this day, maybe we will find out the reality someday.
