The Canvases

Four endless years are about to end. We’re only a month away from leaving high school behind and going our separate ways. We are both happy and sad about this. We are happy because high school is ending. We’re sad because we won’t be able to see each other every day anymore, maybe we’ll even go to different countries. A wonderful chapter of our lives is about to come to an end, so we were going to have as much fun as we could.

When the bell rang, I left the classroom and met my friends in the hallway. We were all very excited for next week’s trip. We were excitedly waiting for next week, having planned what we would wear and who would stay in which room with whom.

We were talking in the hallway about who was bringing what for the trip to eat during the time we were on the bus. At that moment, one of our friends thought of bringing small paints and canvases. We were going to camp on one evening of the trip anyway, and that evening we could paint the sky, the forest, the campfire, or the stars. And it would be a great idea since we were forbidden from bringing phones. We all loved the idea so much that we decided that after school, that evening we would go to a stationery store and buy the canvases and paints.

After school, we all got in the car and went to the nearest stationery store. In the stationery store, we chose canvases that would neither be too large nor too small. There were paints and brushes right next to the canvases. We decided to buy large paints and divide them so that there would be plenty of each color. We chose the brushes as different from each other as possible so that we could include more details.

That one week passed so quickly that we were on the bus and the road in the blink of an eye. We played the games we brought along the way, ate what we brought and had fun all along the way. When we arrived at the hotel where we would stay in the evening, we were all exhausted. But despite this, almost everyone played board games in the lobby that evening.

We bought everything we needed for the day we were going camping, especially bug spray. The campsite had swings, places to sit and camps. The campsite was neither at the top nor at the bottom of the mountain. We could see the sunset clearly from where we were, and this was very good for our pictures. The sunset that evening was incredible. It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.

We had made many beautiful memories throughout the holiday and would be able to preserve them forever with our pictures.
