These days, work is mandatory. Whatever you do, even if you are a garbageman, or an architect, or an engineer, you provide value to the people in the world, more specifically your country, or your neighborhood. Today we will talk about if this will change at all, how this will change, and how work will be in years after all.
These days, the rapid advance in technology will affect the nature of work and the office system that has been used for nearly a hundred years by now. Office system is getting quite useless day by day, since the communication between staff and staff, or staff and boss is getting easy with the help of the internet. Working from home has become more popular with the COVID19 pandemic and isolation. The positive sides of working from home are mostly based on more of a “relaxed” style of working. There are sectors of work called “freelancing”, which is basically you are your own boss, and you are more relaxed with the way you are working, since you can work from anywhere you want. Freelancing includes works like drop shipping, selling virtual goods and many more different job opportunities. Working from home can help with covering the financial costs of electricity, water and etc. Therefore, businesses would have more money to spend on actual business ideas and grow the work even more. But every good thing brings bad things with it too. This can affect discipline among the employees, since there is little to no control over the employees at home. If an ethical system that has access to the computer or the device they work on, at least partly, and can be applied to all businesses, would solve the problem. It can also negatively affect the team work among the employees, since communication will be less, or face to face communication will be less job.
Still, if humanity has advanced this far, and there is no doubt that if we are at the point we are at now, from rocks and wood, humanity will definitely find a way to solve the problems about working from home and bring us to a better place.
