My father was going at a very high speed. My trainer Ramazan was sitting next to him. I was sitting at the back seat, trying to chat with my bestie, however, it was almost impossible to write just a word as my dad was driving like crazy. I said “WOW DAD! will you slow down a bit.” My father looked very worried because there was heavy traffic due to downpour. He didn’t talk all the way to the airport and when my father is silent that means he is very anxious and stressed.
We finally arrived at the airport and after looking for a parking lot for half an hour we were able to park our car. As soon as we got out of the car, we started to run. Suddenly, I fell down and began to grumble. My trainer helped me get up and offered to carry my luggage. After all the check-in process, we were finally on the plane. During the flight we went over our plans and my dad and Ramazan immediately fell asleep. I started to wonder if I would be able to find the right horse for me. I had been riding for 2,5 years and we had been looking for a horse for 9 months. İt was a long and hard process. Finding the right horse is not easy. I started thinking about what kind of a horse we should buy. First of all, it should be brave enough to jump any kind of obstacle; high and low. Moreover, it shouldn’t have any health problems. Furthermore, it should be experienced. That is to say, it should have joined several races. I also fell asleep while thinking.
When I woke up, we were landing in Köln, Germany where we were planning to visit a horse farm. After we left the airport, a driver took us to our hotel. The hotel was wonderful because it was in the country side and surrounded with trees. There was a lake near our hotel. My room was cozy and nice and it overlooked the lake. After a short breakfast we left the hotel. İt took us half an hour to reach the farm. There were only a few horses. We were disappointed about this situation. After visiting many similar farms, we decided to drive to Holland where there where many more hose farms. The next morning, we took off very early. During the journey, my dad tried to cheer me up by telling jokes because I was very sad. I didn’t want to go back to my country without a new horse. After four hours we finally arrived at a famous and biggest horse farm in Amsterdam. I didn’t even want to go to a hotel as ı was too excited and nervous to find my new horse.
We got out of the car and a golf cart took us to the stables. As my dad and Ramazan were talking to one of the horse sellers, I started walking through the stable. As I passed along each horse, I wondered which one would be the most suitable horse for me and of course I would also be very fond of that horse. While I was observing the horses, I felt something touching my arm. I turned around and came face to face with the most wonderful creature in the world and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I knew it was definitely my horse
