I was in my office again, having a staring contest with the blank page on the computer. I had to write something, anything. My fingers were touching the keyboard, but it was like there is nothing left but a normal life. I started to talk in my mind, to myself. ‘Come on, just write something. It can be something like… a new animal added to a zoo or… how a kindergarten kid fell down by stepping on a banana peel.
No, all of this is nonsense.’ I was biting my nails while thinking, then, a poster caught my eye. It said: “Visit the Shining Cave!” Shining Cave… That title is interesting, to be honest. I ripped the poster off the wall immediately. I found the location, maybe I could write about this…
I waited for the next day to visit the so called cave. My alarm started to ring. I got out of the bed and rubbed my eyes before turning off
the alarm. I walked to the bathroom and quickly washed my face and wore my clothes. I grabbed my bag and phone, and left my house.
It was raining. I sat on a bench and waited for a bus.
Finally, a bus stopped at the bus stop. I walked to the bus and got in. I sat on one of the back seats and looked throught the window, I was bored.
Waiting…
The bus stopped at an available place, close to the ‘Shining Cave’. I got off the bus and ran to the ticket place. The place was crowded, kids were impatient to get in the cave. When it was my turn, I bought a ticket for the cave and walked in
It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The cave was made of colorful crystals and stones, fascinating. I slowly walked in
the cave, taking notes of every detail. My eyes were shining with interest and awe. The next day, when I arrived at my office, I immediately visited my boss’ office and handed him my notes. I asked him to allow me to write about it. He allowed! I found something to write, finally. I smiled and walked to my office.
Days later, the Shining Cave took part in the newspaper and started to become popular among people. More people started to visit. I achieved my goal for this week.
