Changes in the Profession System

With advancing technology, many things in your life are or will become history. Working from the office is one of them. After the pandemic, we realized that we could do many jobs online, so many desk jobs started to be done from home. This means that, just like in some professions, the obligation to go to the office for desk jobs is eliminated. This is a good situation for both employees and the workplaces they work for. It will exempt employees from many obligations of office work, such as transportation costs or waking up early in the morning. In this way, employees will be able to do their jobs comfortably and more efficiently in their own environment. For workplaces, this means that many expenses brought by the office, such as electricity, rent and water, will be reduced and more work will be done. This is a much more profitable business for workplaces as it reduces expenses and increases income. But this means that employees sit in front of computers more often and may experience health problems due to sitting too much. Moreover, people are social beings, so they need to contact people face to face. Sitting alone at home can cause psychological problems such as loneliness. The negative aspect for workplaces may be that employees may not be able to fulfill their responsibilities because there is no one at home to discipline them. This can cause a big problem for workplaces. This situation can be difficult for the employer to manage and coordinate.
