The Devil Wears Prada

I recently watched The Devil Wears Prada. I really enjoyed watching it. It was a marvelous movie igniting your sense of fashion. I think everyone who is into fashion should see this movie.

The movie is about Andrea, a young graduate, who travels to New York. After a while, she starts working as an assistant to one of the cities biggest magazine editors. Even though at first Andrea wasn’t into fashion, she started to toughen up and she was determined to be the best version of herself so that she wouldn’t be picked on by her colleagues. Soon she became the best in her job and got many opportunities. Meanwhile she shined, her social life took a turn and her friends were no longer there. She gave up on the things she loved to do her job.

At first, literally no one believed in Andrea (even herself) that she could be a good assistant. She was new and she literally did not know anything about fashion. Her boss and her colleagues thought of her as a failure. Everyone was super hard on the new clueless assistant that was just trying to blend in. But one day she had enough of all the bickering and she decided to be the best at her job. She changed her looks, her diet, her lifestyle… Soon everything changed about her, even her personality. She was successful and admiring. When all her hardworks payed off she got a chance to go to Paris, and everything took a huge twist as soon as she stepped foot to Paris.

The movie’s main idea is determination, anything is possible if you really want it. The movie also points out that you shouldn’t give up on yourself just to be noticed. I think it is a classical movie that everyone who has a passion for fashion should watch. The characters just fit perfectly and the storyline is brilliant with a shocking twist.

Long story short, I recommend watching this movie to everyone who has a passion for fashion. It is a solid movie that will never fail to impress you. The characters, the story, etc. Is truly incredible. The movie also makes some meaningful points about determination and power. I truly love and admire this movie.
