Superiority Didn’t Even Exist

Contrary to everyone’s opinion being a coffee bean is not something so entertaining. Maybe you get curious about why it’s not. Just think about it you have to get far away from your family, from your hometown… Maybe you wonder about where is my hometown. Let me explain to you. The place where I grow up was Vietnam. However, some other coffee beans might grow up in Brazil or Columbia, generally. I mean my friends. Also, we are not all same. I am “Excelsa” but others can be Arabica, Robusta, Liberica, and some other varieties. Nevertheless, trust me we are all delicious.

While we are growing up we need a lot of water. Seriously a lot! Merely, nowadays water issues get complicated day by day. The human race just loves us so much, I know, however, if they want coffee they must be more sensitive about the usage of water. Obviously, not only for drinking coffee. For every living thing. Because as we all know for life water is a “must”. Also like I said before growing a coffee bean is not something easy. I appreciate to people who grow us. They have to struggle every single day. Why? Let me explain to you. First, we grow up slowly so patience plays a significant role. Sensitivity is very important, so they need to collect you with their hands. Apart from that, the climate and the temperature of the region we are in are the leading roles in our growth adventure, and of course, when you go to coffee shops, you come across different coffee names and faltered a bit. This is because coffees are usually named according to the region in which they are grown. I am a coffee bean, but I may at any time be in the coffee cup to reflect my culture!

As the days passed, it was time for me and my friends who were planted at the same time to harvest. That’s good news because we’d be drinkable now. But something didn’t go according to plan. what happened? In the early hours of the morning, we all opened our eyes to a magnificent powerful glow. Before we knew what was going on, we saw my friend Elisa floating in the sky. The minister couldn’t take his eyes off, we were all watching him with our mouths open. Elisa was very happy and it was as if she was spreading her happiness in all directions as she looked at the rainbow she left behind. After getting rid of the magic of the event, we decided to go to the Wise Cofit. He knows all about coffee and is considered wise among all the coffee varieties I have mentioned before. We help each other, listen to their problems and do everything we can, regardless of each other’s type. Shouldn’t it be like that anyway? As soon as we found Wise Cofit, we showered him with questions. Cofit, who wanted to get rid of the confusion, decided to choose a spokesperson among us and chose me. I told him what had happened one by one without jumping in. I can say that it was the first time I saw him when he was surprised. After looking through the books for a while, he laughed and said that he understood what was going on. When he realized my surprise, he said, “This is magic, a miracle son!”.

At first, we didn’t understand, but now we do. Elisa had become a kind of spokesperson. You ask why. She will tell to everyone that no one is superior to anyone with the colors and sparkle she got from the rainbow. Regardless of our type, we rush into each other’s business so that people cannot cooperate as coffee varieties. People do not understand that no one is superior, moreover, they harm the environment and our earth. They are wasting our reason for existence, our water. However, basically, they’re all good. We know that they just need to remember something and that’s Elisa’s job. Elisa will help you to remember your essence. It will remind them to help, be friendly, protect, and most importantly, that the word superiority doesn’t matter. However, it falls to them to do this, and as coffees that witness your most beautiful and sometimes saddest moment every day, we believe that human beings can do this because you are more than you believe and more than you think! Elisa is already on the road with all her color and shine. Don’t forget to drink coffee and smile, this is where the fairy tale ends.
