Biodiversity

Biodiversity is all kinds of living creatures that you will find in one area. The variety of plants, animals, fungi or even microorganisms like bacteria are included in biodiversity. Every single one of these living creatures work together in their ecosystems to keep and maintain the natural balance that their habitat already has.

Biodiversity  is really important because if one of the  species in an ecosystem goes extinct or endangered it would a a challenge  for all the species to adapt to the change and keep their balance. But unfortunately lots of species have been going extinct or endangered because of human beings. Illegal hunting, global warming, climate change, furs and leathers being used for clothing are only a few of the any examples of human kind destroying animal species.

Scientists have been working towards saving the environment and biodiversity but the precautions don’t seem to be enough. So what can we do to save the environment and keep the natural balance of the world? To be honest we can do all the basic things and if everyone starts to slowly pay attention and do small simple gestures for the planet. We can stop buying real furs, we can use less water, we can use more renewable energy and with small steps we could save the environment.
