The Perfect World

Imagine a world where there is peace at all times. There are no wars, no problems, no arguments etc. How would that affect us and our world? Well, a world that maintains it’s constant peace might sound nice, however, it might not be as enjoyable as some think it would. People evolve by creating new technologies and defence mechanisms in order to protect themselves. Therefore, would a place with constant peace have an impact on our developing?

Firstly, there are some pros to eternal world peace. Issues such as hunger, war, global warming, climate change, political arguments etc. are serious topics that are on the table nowadays. If everyone agrees to each other and peace is ensured, then these problems would not have to be discussed anymore and no one had to suffer from any type of problem that they face today. Other big issues such as economic problems wouldn’t matter anymore therefore money would loose its value and everyone could live the same life without one having to live in the streets and one in a mansion. Other topics such as racism would come to an end which is a very big achievement considering the history of the topic. Overall, the pros to world peace seem quite dazzling but in my opinion it has more cons than pros.

Although world peace has its positive effects, it also has its negative effects too. Mankind is not programmed to live in a environment where there is constant peace and not even the smallest conflict. A world where there were no problems at all would be boring and it would refrain us from developing as a whole. We create new technologies and new and easier methods for specific things after certain things happen. For example atomic bombs were created as a self defense mechanism after World War 2. If there were no wars, this new, modern and high level technology would not be created. Also i think that literature would not be as classified and rich if everyone agreed to each other and there were no problems at all. This affects other sectors like fashion, cinema, art, sports etc. The cultural state that we are in at the moment would not be the same if there was world peace.

In conclusion, to ensure world peace might not be as efficient as it may seem. In my opinion, it would be boring and bad for all people. Problems also bring evolving and that’s what’s efficient for everyone. It’s just like learning from mistakes!
