If you are not a farmer or a retired person, you may have trouble in small cities. Also, you have limited access to health services. Even if you find a good doctor, private medical centers will be too far away and this may cause you a big problem. Besides, small towns may seem safer because they are more quieter and less populated. However, according to a University of Pennsylvania study, small towns have a 20% higher risk of injury-related fatalities than big cities. This can be as a result of the limited availability of urgent medical care.
Let’s come to the conveniences of living in a big city. If you live in a big city, you can easily find and prefer a qualified school. It is also easier to find work in a big city. Health services are important too. Having so many hospitals and health institutions is a huge advantage for people who live in a big city. Transport possibilities are much more varied. Cities have public transportation like the metro or public buses to facilitate the transportation of people. Cultural activities take more places in the city center. Theatres, cinemas, and concerts generally meet with the audience in the city center. Municipalities always give more importance to big cities. So, the infrastructure conditions are always better than in small cities.
As a result, I prefer to live in a big city. Living in a big city gives you numerous advantages. You can find very good education conditions to train yourself in a topic you want, all the flavors of the world may be serving around you. When you have a health problem, you can be intervened in minutes, but you can get lost in a hustle and you can be disconnected from nature.
