We are copies of history. Every human being consists of a body, mind and consciousness. The findings, which are put forward by the product of the human mind, can continue to exist and be active both in the near future and centuries later. We run after the unknown with the drive to create; but a human’s bodily life is as natural and vulnerable as the existence of invertebrates, crystals, and planets. In pursuit of supporting these thoughts, we can only pay attention to and interfere with the processes and inventions of our own minds. As a result of the introduction of new ideas, those who come after us only abide by the ideas put forward and contribute to the continuity of the general flow. While freedom of thought and the desire to produce develop in the same direction, expressing the ideas and possible actions of the mind by saying that they are internal has a definite purpose.
”There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations. We keep on turning and making new combinations indefinitely; but they are the same old pieces of colored glass that have been in use through all the ages.” (-Mark Twain) If we examine the philosophy underlying this quote, we may ask questions about what we can derive from the workings of the mind. However, the individual, according to the official teaching, has imaginative and direct knowledge of the workings of his/her mind. The ideas and thoughts that are put forward without giving any illusions try to prove that all these findings are not just an illusion. Our feelings, wishes and observations are phosphorescent in terms of our own internal structure, and the ideas that take place in space are far from artificial and inevitable in terms of the nature of the producer. Every idea and new invention put forward in the past, in fact, stands before us with all its rationality, like a continent waiting to be discovered.
While Victor Hugo defends the idea that ”No army can withstand the strength of an idea whose time has come.” This quote, which defined in a true way, argues that if used correctly, no free thought can prevent the existence of one’s own reality. According to the idea, common judgment that intersects at one point advocates not to stand in the way of ideas and actions that each individual accepts as correct in their own reality. To express my own opinion in the mentioned quotes, body takes part in a space is mechanically related to a body in another part of space and events acting on ourselves. While Descartes’ thoughts and Mark Twain’s philosophy combined with each other, the continuity of Victor Hugo’s thought can also clear up our heads.
