Richard Phillips Feynman become an American theoretical physicist, acknowledged for his work in the path fundamental formulation of quantum mechanics, the concept of quantum electrodynamics, the physics of the superfluidity of supercooled liquid helium, in addition to his work in particle physics for which he proposed the parton model. For contributions to the development of quantum electrodynamics, Feynman received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965 . However, not everything started like that.
Feynman became an overdue talker and did not communicate until after his third birthday. As an adult, he spoke with an accent strong enough to be perceived as an affectation or exaggeration, so much so that his friends made fun of him. When Richard turned five, his mom gave delivery to a more youthful brother, Henry Phillips, who died at age 4 weeks. An IQ test administered in high school estimated his IQ at 125 high but “merely respectable”, according to biographer James Gleick but in spite of all the awful things taking place he didn’t let those occasions outline his whole life. When he was in grade school, he created a home burglar alarm system at the same time as his parents were out for the day running errands. and that’s where it commenced. The first public recognition of Feynman’s work got here in 1954, when the chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) notified him that he had gained the Albert Einstein Award. It was followed by the AEC’s Ernest Orlando Lawrence Award in 1962. Feynman shared the 1965 Nobel Prize in Physics. He became elected a Member of the National Academy of Sciences, but in the long run resigned and is no longer listed by them.
As you see, even his life didn’t start at the brightest point. He turned the downsides to achievement, and became one of my favorite physicists. Even though Feynman is just an example, we can add thousands of people who had a rough start but a successful ending. For instance, Albert Einstein, Mozart, Van Gogh, Stephen King… Most of the successful people on earth had a hard early life. A happy ending is an ending to the plot of a work of fiction in which almost everything turns out for the best for the main protagonists and their sidekicks, while the main villains are defeated, and these people’s lives are kind of mean fairy tales with happy endings.
As Marilyn Monroe said once, “Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you’re going to fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don’t, then who will, sweetie?” So, because something started poorly, it doesn’t have to end badly. With every decision we make we are taking one step forward to a happy ending.
