Recently, I spontaneously came across an argument between a mother and her little son. The son was arguing that chocolates were releasing happiness hormones, so they had to buy chocolates to be happy. I thought about my entire childhood and realised that I was thinking on the same way as that son. Then, I asked myself if it was a right judgement or not.
A study in 1996 showed that chocolate caused the release of endorphins in the brains of American women, making them feel happy. Chocolate does contain several compounds associated with mood-lifting chemicals in the brain. After I learned this, I questioned if there is any close-knit correlation between the nutrients we intake and our moods and behaviours.
I think that it would be unenlightened to explain it without reason. It is always a discussion topic because it has demonstrative and ingratiatory sides simultaneously. For instance, you can think you feel better when you keep your diet healthy and eat balanced. However, you can think that you feel greater when you eat whatever you what. That’s the point I guess. I will clarify it later on. Back to the sub-topic, you could also think you should eat well-sugared nutrients, such as cream contains cacao or hazelnut, when you are in depression.
If I need to explain why I thought there is a point that must be clarified. Well, I am going to do it now. Because of the discrepancy in the type of food that is consumed to change the mood or consumed because of mood, there can be variations in the diet due to mood, but these differences are not small enough to overlook or ignore.
Owing to these circumstances, I do not believe on the notion that foods affect our moods and/or moods affect our foods. Consuming nutrients due to moods can be supportive of mental health. Also, feeling a change in mood can happen. My assessment clears up the thought, there are no fixed or stable diets for moods. I think it is also damaging our health because, as you can guess, eating well-sugared nutrients may cause obesity, diabetes, or health disease.
Finally, I came up with the judgement rejecting the correlation between foods and moods. Last but not least, eat everything you need, or you will need ignoring moods. Little by little into the middle.
