NIKOLA TESLA OR THOMAS ALVA EDISON?

Nikola Tesla and Thomas Alva Edison, I’m sure you’ve heard of these names. Many people are criticizing these two names, which have been the subject of discussion for many people for many years, without knowing the history of the subject. Today I will express my own comments based on the research I have done on this topic. Thomas Alva Edison, the inventor of many important technologies such as phonograph, cement making technology, camera, direct current electric motor, electrical power generation systems and battery, has made a great contribution to today’s technologies. In addition Nicola Tesla made radio, fluorescent light, motor and alternating current electrical power generating system and etc. So, it doesn’t make sense to me to make a choice between two scientists, both have made great things in their own lives.
And, as we all know, the question “who found the light bulb?” is also one of the curious questions. Contrary to what is known, and contrary to what is taught to us in schools, Thomas Alva Edison did not find the light bulb exactly. In addition to Edison, such as Nikola Tesla, Joseph Wilson Swan, Hiram Maxim, Alessandro Cruto, Alexander Lodygin, Mathew Evans and William E. Sawyer and a lot of scientists also played a role too while the journey of the light bulb. Because Thomas Alva Edison developed the light bulb and finalized it, his name is mostly mentioned in the sources.
So, in my opinion, these two scientists have developed important things, so they are both important scientists. Also, I don’t think it makes sense to compare the two.
