Overpopulation…

What is population and why is it such an important topic nowadays? The population is defined as the number of people who live in a place. It may seem like a simple term and not much of a problem, however in today’s world, the population is a very serious issue and it needs to be taken care of. The population around the world increases every day and this has led to overpopulation after a period of time. Overpopulation leads to problems like lack of food, lack of water, unemployment etc. A country’s welfare level also has a big impact on the country’s way of dealing with the problems they face.

When there’s a high rate of population in a country it leads to some problems. To start with, when a place is overpopulated, people become unemployed. When people are unemployed they can’t earn a living or take care of their families. Another example is that when a country is overpopulated the citizens deal with a lack of water and food since there is a lot of people and not enough sources to buy supplies from. And if a country has a low welfare level, it means that they don’t have enough money. And if the government does not have any money, it means that they can’t look after their citizens or pay for their needs. Many people get affected by this problem. In addition to that, many people live in the streets and are hungry so if the government has no money to pay for their needs, many people are going to die. To deal with this problem, the governments can put a limit to the number of children a mother can give birth to. This way, after a period of time overpopulation, will decrease day by day and go back to the normal rate of people in their country. And if the population decreases it will be better for the environment and for global warming.

To conclude overpopulation is a topic that is on the agenda nowadays and a country’s welfare level also has an impact on the subject. By using the solution given above, I believe that overpopulation will be taken care of and that the rate of population is going to go back to what it should have been in the first place.
