Bad Memory From The Past

Bomb is something which explodes and harms the environment and humans. According to the webster dictionary, ‘it explodes due to the sudden release of energy resulting from the splitting of nuclei of a heavy chemical element’.

Atomic bombs have been used in the world wars in history and millions of people died due to atomic bombs. Many people in the world remember bad memories in their lives. Although some countries won the battle thanks to atomic bombs, it was against humanity.

The first atomic bomb was invented on July 16, 1945 in Mexico by Robert Oppenheimer who was a famous physicist. It was a very big invention in history but people who oppose to wars always criticized Oppenheimer because of the damage for the humanity and the environment in the wars.

There are lots of examples of this disaster. The most terrifying one was atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the United States. In the Second World War, the United States bombed over two Japanese cities namely Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the 6th and 9th of August, 1945 and nearly  350.000 people died in these two Japanese cities. This bombing ended the war and Japan lost the war.

People argued whether atomic bombs are necessary or not. Some people believe that it is useful and others think that it is dangerous for humanity. People never forgot the suffering of the atomic bombs and Japanese people still mourn for their grandparents who died during the Second World War. They are very strong weapons and they use the expoding energy. They can give damage to a very large area in a very short time.

New kinds of bombs were created which are  nuclear and hydrogen bombs. They  also give damage to large areas and kill many people in a very short time. These new bombs are more effective than the atomic bombs because technology is developing more and more everyday.  They have different ways of making but they have the same purpose. Countries do not want to use atomic bombs or nuclear bombs. Instead of them, they try to make peaceful policies. Nobody wants to live another bombing like happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
