Limiting The Freedom

Laws are made to rule the country and keep it in order. Governments mostly use the laws to create a peaceful environment in their country. To make it possible to keep the country peaceful, governments usually choose to legislate more strict laws. However, do strict laws affect the country in a good way, or does it create a bad environment for each individual that lives in the country?

To answer these questions, it must be known that humankind does not like to be limited. Is it right to have laws, and do we really need laws? We, as humans, want to be free and do whatever we want to do. Of course, it is not right to let humans do whatever they want to do. Since there are many crimes that can be done that affect many others, yes, it is right to have laws and we need them.

Having strict laws can both affect the community of the country in a good way and a bad way. For example, having many strict and restrictive rules might create a good environment for a riot that would be ruled by the citizens. During the Covid-19 pandemic, people in Europe arranged protests because of the strict rules of the government. Even if the rules are legislated for the good of the community, the legislation of those laws was protested because of their strictness.

As it is mentioned before, humankind likes to be free and do whatever they want to do. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most of the world was limited. Many people did not like to be limited. This situation supports the idea of having bad consequences because of the laws that are legislated to protect the community.

On the other hand, having strict laws is the way to maintain order in a country. There are many countries that are ruled by strict rules. Moreover, some of those countries are can be considered as some of the best countries in the world. For example, Japan is one of the countries that have the strictest rules in the world. However, Japan can be considered as one of the best countries in the world. Society is living in harmony, peace is always present.

To sum up, strict laws can be considered as good or bad. Whether the strict rules affect a country in a bad way or a good way depends on the perspective that is being used to decide on the effects. I personally believe that, unless it is not limiting the essentials that are needed for a person to live, or not making the community try to change the state of the country, strict laws can create a more peaceful world for all humans.
