The well-being of people and the health of the planet go hand in hand. Whatever happens to the nature in which we live and of which we are a part, happens to us. It is not possible to separate man from the Earth. As evidenced by the fires that shatter our hearts today, one of the biggest problems we face is the loss of biodiversity due to climate change and the uncontrolled destruction of the natural structure, and these two problems are closely related. Climate change, ecosystem destruction and loss of biodiversity affect many areas from food security to public health, from climate-related migration to economic instability, and its effects are felt more strongly by disadvantaged groups. A sustainable life for both humans and all non-human creatures is possible only with a balanced climate and healthy ecosystem. The only way that we can change this world is by our heart.
