All people are so caught up in the daily works such as going to work, being successful, getting a promotion, for students going to school, passing the exams, doing homework … It’s a fact that all of these are necessary actions in life but there is another valuable thing that gets lost in between all the haste: Art.
In schools the main and mostly only focus is the academic success of the students while young people should also be educated in differant fields. With only academic education people who only care about material success are raised.
On the other hand it’s proven that art raises serotonin hormone levels in the body which stabilizes are mood and feelings and dopamine hormone which makes us happy, confident and decreases depression. This means that there is a direct relationship between happiness and art.
Other than that There is increasing evidence in rehabilitation medicine and the field of neuroscience that art enhances brain function by impacting brain wave patterns, emotions, and the nervous system. . These benefits don’t just come from making art, they also occur by experiencing art. Observing art can stimulate the creation of new neural pathways and ways of thinking.
In an experiment made in University Collage London by Prof. Semir Zeki the blood flow of the people increased by %10 to the part of the brain releated with pleasure when they were shown the paintings they liked the most which is the same percent with when we are looking to a loved one.
In conclusion the benefit of art on people is more than we think so we should try to include it in our lifes more no matter how busy we are.
